Thank you! I needle felt the wool and the rest is much like sculpting with clay. You can add on or take off at any time. If you'd like to "take a stab at it!" You can search for very inexpensive kits on [link] keywords "needle felt kit". They have instructions, the wool and the special needle for around $10.
Needle felting is GREAT for beginners to advanced artists!

I don't use any wire or frames inside. It's all densely felted wool. Sometimes, I add polymer hooves or horns. I sculpt them out of sculpey and make them like beads with an opening I can thread the wool through and then felt into place.
